Crosstown Doughnuts & Coffee

I must admit that I love to eat healthily but I also like to treat myself a bit from time to time. Last Saturday, I was at home and opened DOJO to check where I could have a nice coffee nearby home and then I saw Crosstown Doughnuts & Coffee in Shoreditch. I left home and headed to the place.

Plenty of doughnuts to choose from

As soon as I entered the shop in Palm Brick Lane I saw that I had plenty of doughnuts to choose from and I chose the most eye-catchy one; the Blood Orange one (and it’s vegan! So everyone can try it!). It is actually made with a beetroot dough with blood orange glaze and some chopped pistachio on top. Verdict? Incredibly delicious –literally the best doughnut I have had in my life.

Can you guys see how cool and cute the doughnut looks inside? I sat in the shop and had my dessert along with a cup of coffee –I must confess I didn’t really like the brew and if you want to go to Crosstown, please grab your coffee somewhere else. So, do I recommend the doughnuts? Absolutely. Do I recommend hot drinks? No way unless you are in a rush.
